Luke Quotes

August 2018:
Luke had a preschool activity tonight. Ms Cartney was teaching him a game and said to pick out 10 dice. He picked them out one at a time and put them with the numbers 1-6 lined up perfectly.

September 2018
Told Luke that Davis would walk him to class. He said he didn’t need to cause I know the way! He’s pretty adamant about ‘walking himself’ to class!

First day of PreK! His teacher told me he said his name is Lukey, not Luke!

November 2018:
I was singing Jesus Loves Me to Brother tonight before bed

“...they are weak, but He is strong. Yes...”

Luke: “Wait a minute. God is strong like me?”

Yellow Day at School

Davis is learning about yellow at school so today was Yellow Day. The only yellow shirt he has is one of Daddy's tball shirts.

Four years old: The first three months

• Davis sleeps about 10 hours at night. He is usually in bed by 2000 and will get up between 0600-0700. He takes almost a 2 hour nap in the afternoon around 1230. Some days he just has quiet time. 
• Every night when it is time to put jammies on he runs to me and asks, "What jammies does Lukey have on?" Then he wants to wear what Luke is wearing. I have bought several matching jammies for this reason. 
• He loves to put these blue things together into shapes, makes them into a ramp for his cars or tunnels for the trains..

 

 

• Favorite food: Ham and mustard, fruit snacks, blueberry granola bars, cheeseburgers. His favorite restaurant is Buffalo Wild Wings. Culver's is his favorite fast food, mostly because the kids meal comes with a small ice cream!

•  He loves to go off in the mornings to the park or library,

•  After supper, he goes outside with Daddy to play with the plane or remote control car. Most of the time he ends up sitting in the back of the 4Runner

 

• Loves going to preschool. He goes Monday and Wednesday mornings from 0815-1115. 
• Loves to sing, he sings all the time now especially when he is playing.

First day of preschool

This boy was pretty excited to start school. He will be going two days a week from 08:15-1115. We got his backpack a few weeks ago.

Monday night we had orientation.

 

He was quiet when we toured the rooms and met his teachers. All of the kids went back to the preschool area while the parents had a meeting with Mrs. Lee. He took off after the other kids without looking back. There will be 13 boys and 2 girls in his class!

 

When we got home he was asking where his homework was!

This morning was the first day of school. He was pretty excited.

 

Daddy stayed home from work and we all went to school together. We had to wake Luke up right before it was time to go!

Bedtime songs

Davis went into Luke's room to play with him when he first woke up this morning. He started singing our bedtime songs to him. I always sing Jesus Loves Me, The B-I-B-L-E, Jesus Loves The Little Children, and I Love You, Lord before naps and bedtime.
