24 weeks

Charlie is about a foot long, similar to the length of an ear of corn.

Heart rate: 154 (Davis' was 140s-150s, Luke's was 144)

Weight gain: 5 pounds since last visit, 18 pounds total

Best moment: Charlie is considered to be viable now! This is huge because now if Charlie was born, it could live outside of the womb. Granted it would be a long NICU stay and a long road. Let's just continue to grow baby inside mom.

Symptoms: I still get sick a couple of times a week first thing in the morning I have occasional Braxton Hicks contractions if I don't watch my water intake, still stuffed up all the time and my face is breaking out. I have been taking my prenatal vitamin and Vitamin B6 once a day

20 weeks

Davis and Luke went with us to our 20 weeks appointment and ultrasound. We did not find out the sex of the baby. It was amazing to see Charlie and the pictures were so cute.

Hi Davis, hi Luke!
This was toward the end of the ultrasound, the baby just rolled over as if it say, "I'm done!"
Davis thought the baby was waving at him, it was adorable! Davis told the sonographer that he was having a brother and the baby's name is Brian! We don't have a boy named picked out yet.

Charlie is the length of a banana and weighed 11 ounces on ultrasound

Heart rate: 153

Best moment: Seeing the baby on ultrasound. I notice the baby moving around a lot more now. I love feeling the baby move!

Symptoms: I still throw up occasionally first thing in the mornings. I am no longer taking Diclegis for nausea. I do take Vitamin B6 once a day. (Diclegis is a combination of Vitamin B6 and Unisom).

Weight gain: 11 pounds,  I am having no trouble in gaining weight this time around

Best moment: I feel the baby moving around every now and then. It feels like a little thump!

24 weeks

Charlie 2.0 is about a foot long, similar to the length of an ear of corn.

Charlie is considered to be viable now! This is huge because now if Charlie was born, it could live outside of the womb. Granted it would be a long NICU stay and a long road. Let's just continue to grow baby inside mom.

At my appointment, the heart rate was 144. I had not gained any weight from my last visit. I get full very fast and don't have much of an appetite. Banana bread is a favorite!

I have started taking 1/2 pill of Zofran every morning and most days have little nausea. Most mornings, Charlie wakes me up with hiccups. Over the last few weeks, I have noticed more movement throughout the day. My hips and back are starting to get sore and I have occasional Braxton Hicks contractions. I have to really focus on making sure I drink enough water!

20 weeks

At our 20 weeks appointment, we had our first ultrasound. It was amazing to see Charlie moving The arms all around! The pictures and video weren't nearly as good as last time. Davis enjoyed seeing the baby on the ultrasound and pointed to the screen saying, "Baby!" The heart rate was 133.

I have been feeling much better and way different than last time! I am still tired and go to bed by 2000 or shortly after Davis is in bed. I tried to go without Zofran for one day and ended up being really nauseated and sick for two days. Ugh. I am definitely feeling Charlie move and it truly is my favorite part of being pregnant! I feel it the most at night when I lay on my right side. I have round ligament pain occasionally,, always seem to have a stuffy nose, and have noticed a few Braxton Hicks contractions but not bad enough to take Tylenol. I have to eat about every two hours and right now I love fruit, especially grapes and oranges. I have gained 2 pounds so far. I only gained a total of 12 pounds with Davis. Thankfully he was still healthy.

16 weeks

I had my 16 weeks appointment and everything looked great. Baby Charlie's heart rate was 155. Kristi let me listen to it for a good minute. It was music to my ears! The boy was not impressed when I moved to lay down to listen. Poor buddy was just a crying until we put him up with me.

Over the last couple of weeks I have had less vomiting, going a whole week without throwing up! I feel much better, too. I take Zofran once a day at breakfast. I don't think I need it anymore but I am too scared to try to go without! I have been feeling the baby move a couple of times a day. It's usually when I am sitting down at the table to eat. I have to eat about every two hours. Lately I am loving Lays Original potato chips! I have regained the 2 pounds I lost during the first trimester and gained a total of two pounds from my prepregnancy weight (which is more than I weighed when I was full term with the boy, yikes!)

15 4/7 wks comparison. Oh, dear.

26 weeks

My how much the belly has grown in the last couple of weeks! Charlie is extrememly active now and when it's really active you can see my whole belly move. I love this part of being pregnant! Charlie must be going through a growth spurt because I am even more hungry now especially at night.

‎Charlie is the length of an English hothouse cucumber (about 14 inches) and weighs about 1 2/3 pounds. Charlie is active all day (and night!). Charlie gets even more active when there is a hand on my belly or I am talking

24 weeks

Charlie is considered to be viable now! This is huge because now if Charlie was born, it could live outside of the womb. Granted it would be a loong NICU stay and a long road. Let's just continue to grow baby inside mom.

I finally went a whole week without throwing up! Charlie moves all day long now and some during the night as well. I got to hear the baby's heartbeat at my appointment last week but the nurse did not say what the actual rate was and  I did not ask. I'm guessing 140s-150s. Jason finally felt movement, too.

22 weeks

I listened to the baby at work over last weekend. The heartbeat was 155. Not too much is new in how I am feeling. I have noticed more hip pain at night especially if I have been laying on that side too long. Thankfully as soon as I change positions, it is better. I have felt more pressure in my low abdomen as I have been growing more in the last two weeks. The best new thing of all is the moving around that Charlie does! I really notice it more during the late afternoon/early evening hours!

22 wks. Charlie is the length of a spaghetti squash, about 11 inches and weighs almost 1 pound. Charlie loves to sleep in and finally becomes active in the late afternoon when daddy gets home until bedtime

20 weeks

At our 20 wks appointment, we had our first ultrasound and did not find out the sex of the baby. It was amazing to see Charlie and the pictures were so cute. We also got a short video to that is absolutely adorable. It shows Charlie being bothered by the ultrasound. The heartbeat was 146. Here are our treasured pictures:

The smallest Seminole fan.....working on the tomahawk chop already!

For the most part, I have been feeling better. I still throw up a couple times a week. I am finally off the Zofran because I don't think it was helping as much as it did before. I have noticed that I can't eat my normal size meals anymore. I have been taking leftovers home just about everytime I go out to eat. Sometimes eating too much is the same as getting hungry. Since January 6, I have been feeling the baby move around. It is the most awesme feeling! It started out as occasional thumping and now I notice it more and more. Since between 18-19 wks I have noticed the round ligament pain, particularly on the right side. It's not bad enough to have to take Tylenol regularly though. The pregnancy is going by so fast!

20 wks. Charlie is the length of a banana and weighs about 10.5 ounces.

16 weeks

I had my 16 wks appointment and everything looked great.  Baby Charlie's heartbeat was in the 140s. We are not going to find out what the sex of the baby is beforehand so I thought it would be funny to call the baby Charlie during the pregnancy instead of it. Plus it's fun because people actually think I am going to name the baby Charlie Brown!

Not much has changed as to how I feel. I have to eat about every two hours. I have been weaning the Zofran to one to two times a day. The nausea is getting better but I still throw up a couple of times a week.

15 4/7 wks Finally getting a little baby bump. Charlie is the size of an apple.
