Seven months old

Allison nurses every 2-3 hours during the day. At night I wake her up 7-8 hours after the last feed and then she will go 3-4 more hours. 

Allison sleeps 12-14 hours (10 hours at night) in a 24 hour period. She has started waking up by 0700. Her morning naps are hit or miss now. Sometimes she will only sleep 30-45 minutes while nursing and then be up until 1130. On days she doesn't take a good morning nap, she will sleep 3-4 hours. Bath time starts by 1930 and she is usually ready for bed by 2030. I nurse her one more time and then she is in the crib by 2100. 

Other tidbits from this month:

• Weighs around 12 pounds
• Makes Razz sound
• Went to the chiropractor...her hip was really tight. 
• Loves solids. I started feeding her solids once a day but quickly had to move up to three times when we are eating! She's eaten squash, sweet potato, peas, zucchini, pears, apple and bananas this month. 

• Loves bath time....she kicks so much the floor is soaked!

• Loves her different stations between feeds.....walks around the neighborhood, gym, exersaucer.

• Adores her big brothers and loves watching them

• Rolls all over the living room

• She is the sweetest, happiest baby (when Mama is in the same room :) )

Seven months old

Nurses

• Every 3-4 hours during the day and will supplement 4 ounces afterwards
• at night long stretch of 9 hours between feeds and then a shorter stretch.
• Loves solids and eats three meals a day. New foods introduced: sweet potatoes, carrots, zucchini, pears, and apples

 Sleeps

• 13-15 hours in a 24 hour period
• Hasn't slept all night for most of the month, usually wakes up between 0400-0500 for a quick feed and then up for the day by 0700/
• Morning and afternoon naps last 45 minutes on a bad day to 2 hours on a good napping day. 
• Most of the time will need a short late afternoon nap
• In bed by 1930 and up between 0630-0700.

Tidbits from this month:

• Weighs over 14 pounds
• A top tooth should be cutting through any day
• Started saying "Da, da" 
• Sits up all by himself 

• Went to the nursery at church for the first time
• In the last few weeks has started crawling better each day

Seven Months Old

Davis is sleeping mostly 13-14 hours in a 24 hour period. With traveling for Christmas he started waking up to eat a couple of times a night but by the end of the month he was back to sleeping 12 1/2 hours straight at night. He eats every 3-4 hours during the day. He eats solids three times a day. His naps are like clockwork in that about two hours after waking up he is rubbing his eyes and ready for a nap. He is down for bedtime by 1930 every night.
Here are tidbits about Davis this month:

• Loves solids: has eaten squash, sweet potatoes, carrots, zucchini, avocado, pears, bananas, apples, and peas.

• Will scoot and roll to wherever he wants to go which is usually near the electronics

  

•  Figuring out how to push up on his knees

•  Would rather be on the floor playing with his toys than in the exersaucer or jumparoo

• Most mornings we will find him on his belly in the crib
• When being babysat will want to be held the whole time and will scream and cry huge crocodile tears if put down. 
• Loves exploring faces  

• Is babbling consonants, particularly D's and S's "Da da da" and "Ssss" 
• Has finally doubled his birth weight. He weighed 14 pounds 9.6 ounces
