• Sleeps 13-14 hours in a 24 hour period
• Asleep by 1930 and gets up 12 hours later but will play happily in the crib
• Naps in the afternoon from 1230-1510 when we have to pick up Davis
• New words: Mil (milk) and Jaguars
• she will raise her hands and say "Jaguars!" with us. 
• Two more teeth (one bottom and one top) so 7 teeth total

17 months old

• Drinks whole milk at meals and when he firsts wakes up. He drinks up to 20 ounces a day. He likes water, too.
• Loves solids and will eat most anything. When he is done he will start dropping food on the floor. 
• Sleeps 15 hours in a 24 hour period. 
• Asleep by 1930. Sleeps 12 hours at night and plays happily in his crib until I get him at 0800.
• Down to one nap a day in the afternoon. He naps around 1230 and he sleeps for 2-2 1/2 hours. 
• Getting a top eye tooth and top molar is poking through. 
• Loves stroller rides in the evening after supper

• Got his first haircut

•  Loves playing with blocks.

•  This rarely happens. Brother is worn out! He was dancing to his music while I fixed lunch. When I put it on the table, he was like this.

17 months old

Davis is sleeping 13 1/2 to 15 1/2 hours in a 24 hour period. He is a great napper and usually takes one afternoon nap that lasts between 1 1/2 to 3 hours. About once a week, he needs two naps. As soon as I say it's nap time, he grins and runs to his room saying night night. He loves naps but I think he really just likes his paci! Here are tidbits about this month: 

• His new words this month are: Wow (from Uncle Nick's dad), hello, hot off and on (from turning lights on and off with Granddaddy!). He will repeat most any one or two syllable word you say.
• Loves playing downstairs
• Loves music and will twist and dance

•   Loves to climb on everything

• Loves light switches and turning them off and on

•  Loves his blocks, cars, and reading books with Daddy

November trip to Florida

The boy and I spent the last ten days in Florida while Jason was traveling for work. Here are pictures of our trip:

Checking out the runway....he did fantastic on the 2 1/2 hour flight to Orlando. He loved talking to the other passengers.
