20 months old

• Drinks whole milk at meals and with afternoon snack. He drinks up to 20 ounces a day. He gets water in between. He calls both baba.
• Loves to eat, especially fruit.  He climbs up in his chair on his own and ask for "nack" or "lunch" When I start putting food on the table he runs to his chair

•  Sleeps 15 hours in a 24 hour period. 
• Asleep by 1930. Sleeps 12 hours at night and plays happily in his crib until I get him at 0800.
• Afternoon nap starts by 1300 and he will sleep 2.5-3 hours.  
• New words: Car, baby, lunch, nack  (lunch), Here you go, here it is, hello. 
• Words he has already been saying: Daddy, Mama, buddy, Deedee (doggy), baba (bottle), bath, thank you, bat, ball, choo choo, cheese, Hannah, row, yes, nana (banana), hi (two syllables!), bye bye. ready 2 go, Teeth, Ella (Bella), that, hot, potty, no no, mine and night, night. "Ready 2 Go!" It'a a combination of 1, 2, 3 and Ready, set, go! 
• We go off in the mornings to the park, splash pad, or the mall playground. He loves to play outside!

•  He loves watching Daddy work and gets so excited when Daddy comes home from work!

20 months old

Davis is sleeping 13 to 15 hours in a 24 hour period. He takes one nap in the afternoon that usually lasts nearly two-three hours. Here are tidbits about this month:

• New words this month: trash, church, where are you, potty, Thomas, jacket, funny, ready set go. He repeats any word you say 
•  Has four teeth on top and now four on the bottom
• Will go pee in the potty. Lately, most nights Davis pees in the bath soon after I put him in it. Then I drain all the water and start it again. Finally I had the bright idea to put him on the toilet backwards and see what he would do. He thought it was quite hilarious and peed in the potty. I did that a couple of nights in a row. Then on our trip to Moline,  I took him more throughout the day and he would go every time. I noticed that his diaper wasn't as wet so we bought him a Thomas the Train potty. He loves Thomas and will walk in the bathroom and say, "Hello, Thomas!"
  
  
  
  

Funny

I do believe the boy and I had a conversation. He ran into the living room with his diaper falling off.
Me (laughing): Davis, come here. Mommy has your diaper falling off of you."
Davis: "Funny!"

Also, today we went through the drive thru at WalGreens. As soon as we pulled away he starting asking for a bite. Poor buddy thought Mommy was having a treat without him!

Family Museum

Jason, Davis and I most of the week in Moline. Every morning the boy and I went to the Family Museum. Do you think he liked it?
