Bedtime conversation with boys
Mama to Davis: “Are you excited about tomorrow?”
Davis “I am excited! I can’t wait.”
Luke: “I’m not excited.”
Mama to Luke: “You aren’t excited?”
Luke: “No, I am ULTRA excited!!”


Luke starts school tomorrow so I told him I am going to miss him so much!

He then said: “Well you’re gonna miss me when I get a house because I’m gonna live in Florida. I will be going to the pool!”

The boy was telling us about a book his class is reading, Jack and Annie in the Amazon......He said "not the Amazon that sends stuff but the one with the animals." 😂😂

First day of Kindergarten

 Monday night we had kindergarten orientation.

 

 

 

 Mrs. Krambeer is his teacher this year. This is her 3rd year teaching kindergarten but first year at Hudson Elementary. Davis mumbled, "Davis Jason Brown" when she asked him his name. Only two other boys from preschool are in Davis' class.

 

 

Today was his first day of school.

He wasn't really excited about going but did good walking into his class.

 

 

 

 After we put his stuff in his locker, I think we lingered too long. He started crying and asking to stay with Mommy. Luckily Daddy was there and able to redirect him. In the meantime I had lost Luke. He was wondering the hallways and also upset! By the time I got Luke, Davis was settled down and seemed happy when we left. On the way home from school he told me he told his teacher that he would be missing a few weeks of kindergarten!
