September trip to Florida: Jacksonville

 Together again! 

Friday morning Granddaddy took us to the zoo:

Davis was worn out and slept on the way to Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Nick's house

Friday evening my college friend Hannah brought her boy over so we could catch up!

Saturday morning the boys had a photo session with our wedding photographers and Green Cove. We then went to the church to celebrate Great Granddaddy's 90th birthday!

Sunday we had church so we had to get our traditional pew picture.

Monday morning Mom and I did our own photography session with the boys

We then spent the rest of the morning with Mema!

Cousin Steven spent the afternoon with us!

That night the boys were spoiled with some individual grandparent time!

 

Tuesday I had lunch with my former coworker, Caryn and saw a few of the ladies I used to work with at Baptist South. 

 Davis was so excited to play with the John Deere tractor at the portrait studio.

Davis loved walks to see the train tracks. One time he watched a train go by. He loved it!

Davis found Elmo underneath the bed with some other stuffed animals. He pulled him out and immediately asked if Elmo could go on the plane with him. He then put Elmo in bed with him. One afternoon I had to wake him up and he had his arm around Elmo sleeping. Just as we were leaving to go back to The Villages, Davis ran inside and grabbed Elmo to bring back to Iowa.
