First stitches

There is a half moon window over the window in his room. There's a board blocking the sun but also a shade, too that has a cord hanging down. He must have pulled the cord and knocked the board down. It's so scary to think how close it came to hitting his eye. Yes, the board and the cord have been removed!

How we spent part of Super Bowl Sunday/snow day. When the nurse said the Doctor would be in to see us, the boy asked us, "Is Dr. Shockley (his pediatrician) coming in?" He was so brave!

Back home 30 minutes later

The red around his nose and mouth are from a terrible cold he had. He kept wiping his nose on his sleeve and made the skin raw.
